We help local women through financial aid grants and educational assistance. Grant disbursements to date is over $250,000 from fundraising generated at all Bowling For Boobies® events.

For the first time since I was diagnosed with breast cancer, I feel like I can breathe. I was very depressed on the morning I received your letter. It's fitting that I write this note of appreciation on Independence Day because that describes the
freedom I felt when I received your generous grant at the 11th Hour, the day before my
rent was due and all my other paths of financial support had either been used up or still on hold.
I believe that we never get more than we can handle. My Cancer prognosis has been very good,
but overwhelming financial stress at the same time can be crippling if it weren't for caring people
like yourselves who take valuable time from their daily lives to support people at such a vulnerable
time in their lives.
The work you do is very healing. Sometimes asking for help and getting a response can be the best medicine.

I can't begin to express my gratitude to your foundation for the grant you've bestowed upon me. You have given me a sense of security and hope that I haven't felt in so long. It makes such a difference knowing that I won't have to worry about whether my electric bill is going to be paid or if I'll be able to get myself the proper nourishment to keep my red blood count up in order to be able to function while going through chemo and radiation.
Knowing that your organization cares has relieved some of the emotional trauma and fear that I have been experiencing over the last 7 months and has given me the strength to fight even harder to not only make sure I am healed physically and emotionally but, too strive even more to be there for other women who might not be as strong as me mentally so that I can be around to fight for them.
