In 2005 Harvard Law & Medical Review published a study revealing that greater than 50% of bankruptcies are caused by Illness. Each year 1.9 to 2.2 MILLION Americans (filers plus dependants) experience a medically related bankruptcy. It also revealed that 42 percent of medical debtors are likely to experience lapses in medical coverage due to the illness at exactly the time they most need it. Read the study...
